If I were an angel
I’d sleep on a cloud
And kiss the moon goodnight.
If I were a star
I’d twinkle and shine
And outsparkle the brightest light.
If I were the sea
I’d crash and I’d roar
And I’d splash ever mightily.
If I were a rock
I’d stand straight and tall
And would never give in to the sea.

Beautiful! I love the way you tugged on my imagination with such a charming but simple poem. Also, I’m a sucker for nature poetry and personification.
